Kate Matesic





Hi! I’m Kate Matesic, a writer, zine maker, and creative. I create work about snapshots of real life, through the lens of nostalgia, community. and everyday joy. 

I graduated from Sheridan College in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design.

Some of the places you can find my work include Knee Brace Press, Canvas Literary Journal, UX Magazine, and Beautiful Trash for Beautiful People.

My poem Gentle Hands is all about the fun of playing outside as a kid, and interacting with nature. The poem is featured in volume 8, Nostalgia, of Beautiful Trash for Beautiful People.
